Traditional Toys

Nothing ever stays the same. If it did, it would become obsolete. However, we at Carletto believe that the way that children play will never change. Digitalisation can’t alter this. The computer is a relatively new invention, but games are as old as mankind itself.

All games follow simple concepts and rules. This much we know to be true. The rest is open to interpretation: a cleverly-designed marble run for little builders, a high-performance digger for aspiring sand architects, enchanting miniature figurines, complete with Multivan, for the detail-obsessed, or a stylish, retro slide for the athletically inclined.

Transport & Storage

Warehouse space and reliable logistics are a key competitive advantage for many companies. Enough storage capacity, flexibility, efficient handling of orders and state-of-the-art technology are the foundation of distribution. Part of the success of our distribution business is our own logistics, which handles logistics for other companies in addition to the Carletto portfolio.

Since October 2023, Carletto has been at the new location in Brunnen SZ, thus expanding its range of logistics services and storage space. The attractive location in the heart of Switzerland on the most important north-south axis, the high-bay warehouse and the modern infrastructure offer the best conditions for this.

Who we are

Since it was founded in 1986, Carletto has become one of the leading specialists for the construction and distribution of brand-oriented toys and has developed into a high-performance partner in the European toys industry. The company stands for high quality products with excellent play value.

With over 70 employees at the locations in Brunnen (Switzerland) and Nürnberg (Germany), Carletto provides for more than 4,500 clients of varying sizes and from a wide range of sectors, including the toy and book trade, boutiques, and department stores.

What we do

As a distributor and dialogue partner, Carletto supports companies across Europe in developing and implementing effective brand and marketing strategies. As such, we do business based on a maxim intended to foster long-lasting partnerships. Each brand requires its own custom-designed, future-oriented strategy for its respective market. That’s what we call brand-oriented service.

There are no rules without exceptions. That applies to us too. Sometimes, we have to take matters into our own hands. Not because we can do something better than our partners can, but rather because we believe in some things where others may have their doubts. That’s where our own brands such as “Game Factory” and “Artista” came from. Those are our exceptions and our proudest achievements.

Where we are

The headquarters of Carletto AG is located in Brunnen, Switzerland, from where all activities are controlled. Our location in Nuremberg serves the German and Austrian markets.
At its office in Hong Kong, Carletto Asia operates FOB business only. The Carletto Logistics Center in Brunnen in Switzerland serves both Carletto AG and over a dozen other customers with logistics services.

Our offices and showrooms

The border between the real and virtual worlds is constantly shifting at all levels in favour of new concepts. For some years now, Carletto has also offered a B2B shop that gives its clients the option to place orders quickly, conveniently, and at any time of day.

However, in truth: optimised processes are important, but real-life showrooms are crucial. Why? The answer: because at our large showrooms in Wädenswil and Nürnberg, we don’t just have our collection on display for clients to see for themselves, we also present intelligent, personalised marketing concepts with the help of our qualified employees – be it for PoS or classic marketing. The client decides what they need for their market.
